Servings: 4 servings
- 1 lb cherry tomatoes
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Slice the cherry tomatoes in half, then toss them in a bowl with the oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Make sure you coat the tomatoes thoroughly.
Transfer to the air fryer and spread out as evenly as possible. It is ok if a few of the tomatoes are on top of each other. If more than a fourth of the tomatoes are stacked on each other in the basket, then try cooking them in multiple batches.
Set the air fryer for 350°F and cook for 20 to 24 minutes. Check the tomatoes halfway through the cooking time and give them a shake or stir to distribute them.
Basket Size And Batches
The basket used for this recipe was 9 by 9 inches. If yours is smaller, cook the tomatoes in 2 or 3 batches so they roast rather than steam.
Check Halfway Through
Shake or gently stir the tomatoes halfway through cooking to redistribute them. Smaller tomatoes may soften sooner, so use their texture as your guide.
Ways To Serve
Spoon the warm tomatoes and their juices over toast, pasta, pizza, or sandwiches. The juices add plenty of concentrated tomato flavor.
