Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 1 hour
Total Time 1 hour 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 garlic bulb
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

  1. Cut the top off of the garlic bulb. Cut off just enough to expose the inside of each garlic clove. Place the garlic on a sheet of aluminum foil and drizzle some olive oil over the garlic. Allow the oil to seep in between each garlic clove. Loosely wrap the garlic in aluminum foil and bake at 400°F for 60 minutes.
  2. Once the garlic is finished roasting, squeeze the garlic bulb into a small mixing bowl.
  3. Combine the garlic with the other ingredients in a small bowl. The more you mix it, the more the garlic will break down into smaller pieces. Mix until you have the texture you like.
  4. Spread the sauce on your favorite burgers or dip your fries directly into the sauce. Enjoy!

Notes

  • When roasting the garlic, you may need to add more time depending on the size of the garlic bulb. Start with 60 minutes and adjust accordingly.
  • The sauce will be chunky from the garlic. If you prefer a smoother sauce, you can mince the roasted garlic more or use a spoon to create a paste with the roasted garlic before adding it to the sauce.
  • Store the Donkey Sauce in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
